November Update
Hospital Yojoa Update — November 2025
Dear friends and supporters,
We’re grateful to share several encouraging updates from Hospital Yojoa. Thank you for continuing to pray, give, and walk with us as this vision comes to life!
Leadership Retreat & Organizational Milestones
In October, CHSC leadership planned a retreat which they attended alongside our team and the Director of Healthcare Leadership & Medical Missions from CMDA. It was an invaluable time of prayer, planning, and alignment.
Together we finalized our leadership structure, clarified our decision-making process, established our Steering Committee, appointed a Project Director, and adopted a Steering Committee Charter. These are crucial steps toward long-term sustainability and accountability.
Another major milestone:
Hospital Yojoa is now officially a registered nonprofit!
After more than a year of work, this process is complete—opening new doors for partnerships and funding as we move toward construction.

Construction Timeline
With our nonprofit status finalized, we are preparing for the next big step.
We anticipate beginning construction in February. In the coming weeks, we will be signing contracts with our construction manager and moving into formal pre-construction planning. Please pray for wisdom and provision as we approach this significant phase.
Our Team in Action
Our team remains active, serving alongside our partner nonprofits and also within the public system. As part of the process of obtaining her Honduran medical license, Dr. Judith Blumhofer is currently serving her Servicio Social assignment, working as a pediatrician in a public health center while pursuing her Honduran medical license. Her steady service has been a blessing to many families.
We are also thrilled to announce the arrival of the Brockington family to Honduras. Dr. Jenny Brockington is a family physician and is already serving as our Steering Committee facilitator and liaison to CHSC. Dr. Jared Brockington is a pediatrician. The Brockingtons have eight years of experience serving in both Malawi and Kenya. They, including their two children are currently studying Spanish and settling into life in Honduras.

Year-End Giving: Help Us Break Ground in 2026
As we close 2025, we are filled with gratitude for God’s provision. With governance structures finalized and construction scheduled to begin in February, your year-end gift will have a direct and immediate impact on the launch of Hospital Yojoa.
Year-end gifts will help us:
Begin site preparation and early construction phases
Finalize contracts and essential infrastructure
Equip and support our growing team as they prepare to serve the Lake Yojoa region
If you feel led to partner with us financially this season, we are deeply grateful. Every gift moves us one step closer to a hospital that will bring compassionate, Christ-centered care to families in this region.
Thank You
Every step forward is possible because of your prayers, encouragement, and generosity. God is building something beautiful here, and it is a privilege to pursue this mission together.
With gratitude,
The Hospital Yojoa Team
