Mirian Suyapa Milla Iglesias
Physician - Advisory Committee MemberDra. Mirian Suyapa Milla Iglesias is a general physician with extensive experience in primary care, public health, and healthcare administration in Honduras. She currently serves as Director of the Yojoa Health Center and previously coordinated municipal health services for Santa Cruz de Yojoa through the Honduran Ministry of Health. Her clinical experience includes primary care, emergency medicine, maternal health, minor surgery, home visits, and leadership of public health programs, including frontline management of COVID-19 patients, vaccination campaigns, and maternal-child health services. She is currently completing a Master's degree in Health Services Management and holds a postgraduate diploma in Hospital Management and Administration.
Dr. Milla is committed to advancing community health through both clinical care and public health leadership. She has participated in medical brigades with the Tzu Chi International Medical Association (TIMA), completed international clinical training in gynecology and surgery at Hualien Tzu Chi General Hospital in Taiwan, and regularly pursues continuing medical education through the Pan American Health Organization, the Honduran Medical Association, and other professional organizations.
