Dr. Lesbin Javier Velásquez López is a general physician with over a decade of experience in emergency medicine, primary care, and community health in Honduras. He currently serves as a staff physician and Director of the Health Program at Clínica Médica Sal y Luz in Peña Blanca, where he oversees clinical services while providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages. He earned his medical degree from the National Autonomous University of Honduras and has completed additional training in basic ultrasound, neonatal resuscitation, and maternal emergency care.
Throughout his career, Dr. Velásquez has held leadership positions in both rural and urban healthcare settings, including serving as Medical Director of a government primary care clinic and working as an emergency physician in multiple hospitals and urgent care centers. He has received numerous awards for academic excellence and outstanding clinical performance and regularly participates in national and international medical conferences to stay current with advances in internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, radiology, and primary care.
