Hannah studied medicine at the University of Kansas. She completed a family medicine residency followed by a fellowship in surgical obstetrics at the University of Missouri Kansas City.

Max and Hannah Anderson and their four children served in Honduras through the Samaritan's Purse Post Residency Program for 2.5 years prior to joining the Christian Health Service Corps in 2024.

Hannah is the child of medical missionaries and spent her childhood in Africa and the Middle East. Prior to medical school, Hannah studied journalism and had the opportunity to work with several international publications.
