Dr. Fernando Villatoro is a general physician with extensive experience in primary care, outpatient medicine, and community health. He currently serves as Medical Director of Betania Clinic in Siguatepeque, Honduras, providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and prenatal care. He graduated with honors from the National Autonomous University of Honduras and is licensed to practice medicine in both Honduras and the United Kingdom.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Villatoro has experience in rural healthcare leadership, remote patient monitoring, and international medical outreach. He is committed to evidence-based medicine, medical education, and expanding access to quality healthcare. His research on implementing open-source electronic medical records in Honduran primary care clinics has been presented nationally and published in the Honduran Medical Journal.
