Amanda is a family nurse practitioner with a master’s in nursing with specialization in Education from the University of Phoenix. She has over 7 years’ experience in a retail walk in clinic in the United States. She also has experience working as a nurse in a pediatric emergency department as well as medical/surgical unit and working as a sexual assault nurse examiner for both adults and children. Prior to making Honduras her home in October 2022, she visited several times to study Spanish and to serve with short term missions in various communities. She is currently studying to become a nurse-midwife.
